My Events
What began as a single "Cruisers Reunion" in July 2012 is now a 6-times-a-year cruising event in Princeton, WV. Everything from hot rods & muscle cars to mini-vans and mopeds can be seen "cruising the strip." Through this event, our small planning team brings a couple thousand people to downtown where revitalization efforts are currently underway.
Each cruise-in has entertainment (a live band or DJ) and food vendors, and commemorative
t-shirts are sold each year.

I volunteer with a local 501(c)(3)--The Friends of Hillsville--and one of my projects is the "Team Up to Clean Up." 2019 marked our 5th annual event. The number of volunteers has grown to 40, with more businesses participating each year. The intent is multi-dimensional: cleaning our community, instilling pride in our community, marketing for local small businesses, and promo for our organization.
